Edenvale Electrics: Peter Hope, Electrician, Specialising In Domestic Electrical Installations, Based in Paignton, Serving TorbayI am an

Electrician, Skilled, insured, qualified, NICEIC registered Approved Contractor covering the Torbay area.

All relevant certificates, insurances and registrations are available for inspection upon request. No job is too big or too small.

Due to the loosening of restrictions around covid 19 I am now opening up the business again.

However I will not be working in any household that has:anyone with Confirmed Covid 19 or cold like symptoms.
Also anyone that is classed as vulnerable and is in lockdown.

I expect anyone to disclose any of the above before engaging my services.

There are other distancing and hygiene procedures that I will be implementing.

Please be aware in some circumstances it is impossible to keep the 2 metre distancing rule.

As long as we are all sensible and use common sense we will keep the risks to a minimum.

No Middlemen To Deal With:

The benefits of dealing with a local electrician are obvious, and ensure that you will deal
with myself at the quotation stage, work and completion stages.

No middle men and layers of communication. This ensures a nice, smoothly run job.

I book one job at a time. So I do not flick from job to job.

Once on site I stay there for the duration.

I will not keep nipping out to do quotes or supposedly getting stock, which can be really frustrating for the customer.

I do not find ‘non existent’ extra work that needs to be carried out just to make some extra money.

However, I do have a duty of care to point out anything that isn’t to regulation standard, and I will say so if necessary

If it isn’t to current regulations, but was when installed, and I’m not working on that circuit, then nothing needs to be done, unless it is dangerous.

If so, I will strongly recommend that I repair it there and then, however, I would never force this work to be done.

All Electrical Installers should be ‘Qualified, Registered and Insured’.

You can check to see if I, or any other tradesman who carries out electrical work at your property meets these criteria, by visiting the government’s independent register of Electrical Installers, commonly known as the “Competent Persons Scheme.

You can also visit the NICEIC electrical installers registration site.

As a qualified Electrician, you will find me on both, as you should be able to with any other electrical contractor who works at your property.

My work ethic is Safety, Quality and Workmanship.

During the quote process I will listen closely and relay back exactly what you require from me, and what I am going to deliver at the end of the job.

All works are signed off, and building control informed if the job is notifiable.
